Healing Insight Through My Dreams

Since I was a little girl, I've had brilliantly colorful and wildly fantastic dreams filled with strange events. I climbed cliffs to consult with a snake, was pursued through dark corridors by bodiless foul creatures, ran through faerie landscapes with unicorns, and so forth. I've also never been able to figure out the meaning to most of these dreams, no matter how deeply I looked...

Dreams Are Real

When I first became a member of Eckankar, I learned that the dream world is real, even more real than waking life. I found this rather difficult to believe, given my Christian background. Then an amazing experience happened, which taught me better. I had been having a lingering migraine. I tried all the analgesics prescribed for me by my doctor. When I could no longer bear the frustration of ineffective medication, I turned to the Mahanta, my inner guide to ask for help...

When Walls Collapse

When I learned that my childhood home was going to be demolished, I decided to visit it one more time. When I arrived, the wrecking crew had gone to lunch, leaving the job only partly done. Still standing were the steps that led to the bedroom I had shared with my four brothers. Although the outside walls were gone, my bedroom was still there. As I climbed the stairs, I was flooded with memories.... I never told my parents what happened next...

No Fear of Dying

In 1979 I had a dream within a dream which changed my view of death overnight. At the time I was very unhappy and wanted nothing more than to run my life into the ground and be done with it. In the midst of this despair, I was given a book written by the modern day founder of Eckankar, Paul Twitchell. It was the only light in my otherwise darkened world. After reading it I had this dream – if truly it can be called such, for I have no recall of falling asleep that night. As soon as I lay my head on the pillow, I stepped into the midst of another life...

Dreams Story Links

"Our dreams are the forgotten road to heaven. Dreams are the starting point for many who wish to begin the spiritual journey to God and do it in the easiest possible way. There is simply no better way to start than with our dreams." - Harold Klemp The Art of Spiritual Dreaming, p. 7

Soul Travel Story Links

"The point of Soul Travel is not just to fly around the universes, whizzing here and there. That would be as empty as going through life without ever knowing that Soul is on earth to fulfill Its divine mission. Its mission is to become a Co-worker with God. When It does, It knows a joy and spaciousness beyond anything that can be imagined." - Harold Klemp Cloak of Consciousness, Mahanta Transcripts Book 5, p. 99

Reincarnation Story Links

"[But] many people of other religions besides Eckankar do understand and accept the principle of reincarnation. It's a principle of divine love in action. It allows people, you and me, to have a chance to develop the quality of divine love. We do this through the hardships and uncertainties, as well as the joys and the fulfillment, of living. We develop the quality of divine love. We become more godlike beings. - "Harold Klemp Our Spiritual Wake-Up Calls, Mahanta Transcripts, Book 15, p. 30
