Each ECK Center in Colorado holds monthly ECK Worship Services that follow a three part format: reading a short quotation from one of Harold Klemp's writings, a brief HU Song, and discussion or talk on the spiritual principles of ECK. The program lasts an hour and is devoted to giving the interested visitor an opportunity to learn more about the tenets of ECK, hear personal experiences and meet other Eckankar members.
A Youth and Family program is often available at the same time. Refreshments and conversation are enjoyed afterwards. No donation is required and followers of all faiths are warmly welcomed.
Annual or semi annual events for the public are held during half-day or day long seminars.
Techniques, tools and skills learned through use of the Spiritual Exercises of ECK can provide the visitor with a deeper personal relationship with God, a way to receive inner and outer guidance from a true spiritual master, and a way to experience miracles in your everyday life.
Enjoy spiritual-exploration, robust discussions, exceptional speakers, Soul-awakening creative arts and connect with a spiritual community of people who share your desire for truth!
Everyone in the community is invited to participate in a Community HU Chant (also called a HU Song).
After a 2 or 3 minute introduction, the HU Chant will last about 20 minutes with a short period for quiet contemplation. HU is an ancient name for God.
As a non-directed prayer, it’s simply for the spiritual upliftment of those who come and is not directed to any other purpose. Refreshments & discussion can follow the HU Chant. A Community HU Chant provides an opportunity for the seeker to have their own personal experience in the Light and Sound of God.
For those seeking a deeper opportunity to experience the ECK teachings, a "one-year, advanced study program" is available. Spiritual training and experience come in many ways with Eckankar membership. In addition to quarterly publications, you receive a year-long discourse series written by the spiritual leader of Eckankar for your personal study.
You can also study with others in an ECK Satsang (spiritual study) class to share experiences, insights, and questions. Each month you will read a discourse on another facet of the ECK teachings and practice interesting spiritual exercises.
An ECK book discussion class is a wonderful way to share personal insights and experiences and learn more about the principles of life as found in the ECK writings.
Book discussions, led by an experienced class leader, are usually no larger than twelve people and can help you see how Divine Spirit guides you in your life.
Created to provide a foundation for the development and spiritual education of youth and families in ECK, young people between the ages of five to seventeen have the opportunity to learn unfoldment, leadership and service to others.
Assisted by trained volunteer adults, events and activities are designed with safety, support and education in mind.
Discussion opportunities are available all around Colorado through Spiritual Cafe' or Meetup events.
Each event will have a central theme that creates lively and heart opening conversations built around questions and personal interest of the attendees. The spiritual laws of life are shared as they relate to the ECK teachings.
